I. Reasons for longitudinal tearing of conveyor belt:

(1) The vibration impact causes the fasteners to loosen and fall off, resulting in the falling of the coal pipe liner plate, material guide plate, etc.

(2) Other objects is mixed into the material, which is hard and angular, and the coal pipe is blocked and crushed.

(3) The supporting roller is defective, and the supporting roller frame causes scratches.

(4) The conveyor belt is hung by the rack after serious deviation.

(5) The sweeper is involved in the roller (return sweeper), the bolt is loose, and there is the precursor of spring.


The asymmetry of unilateral influence will be reduced, so the deviation phenomenon on the conveyor belt will be less.Of course, with the exception of individual cases, such as: the center adjustment roller swing is not flexible or is tilted fixed, the surface of the roller is not clean or the external environment, etc., which can cause the conveyor belt deviation.I wonder if you have noticed such a problem when using nylon conveyor belt, that is because some poor quality nylon conveyor belt will have some bubbles on the surface, which is actually produced in the production process of nylon conveyor belt. But what causes this situation? When used in wet and cold environment, the adhesive property of the rubber band's comprehensive strength will not be affected in any way, it will still work normally and the service life will be longer.


2.Reasons for cracking of conveyor belt:


(1) Due to the limitation of space size, the conveyor belt bends many times.

(2) When the joint is vulcanized, it has been vulcanized more than twice for various reasons.

3.Causes of tear of conveyor belt vulcanized joint:


(1) The diameter of the reversing drum is small, and the bending stress borne by the conveyor belt is large.

(2) Poor quality of the conveyor belt vulcanized joint, especially for more than two times of vulcanization, the joint strength significantly decreased, or the canvas layer was cut off during the bonding or polishing leakage, the strength decreased.

(3)For reversible conveyors, they are easily scratched by the sharp corners of equipment such as sweeper and unloader on the belt because they can only be overlapped in one direction.


Friction between guide chute baffle and conveyor belt, the abrasion of baffle to conveyor belt is a special kind of abrasion. If the design method of baffle is improved and attention is paid to maintenance, this abrasion can be almost prevented. The friction between the idler and the conveyor belt, and the lower covering rubber of the conveyor belt will also be subjected to the friction of the centering idler and the forward-inclined grooved idler. Wear will occur at the transition section from the grooved idler to the roller and at the curved convex part of the conveyor. Roller and conveyor belt friction, conveyor belt under the cover of rubber is also subject to the friction of self-aligning roller and forward trough roller, and has the characteristics of aging resistance, corrosion resistance, is to cover the rubber belt. In terms of formulation, natural rubber is generally used as the main raw rubber, and the rubber content is about 50%. The conveyor has short working period, frequent starting and large instantaneous tension.


Solution:

Causes of damage to the adhesive surface of conveyor belt:


(1) The gap between the lining plate of the guide chute and the adhesive tape is inappropriate, causing abnormal wear, or foreign bodies are embedded in the gap, causing abnormal wear or scratches. 

(2) The material flow rate at the guide chute is not consistent with that of the conveyor belt, resulting in large drop and accelerated rubber surface abrasion.

(3) Roller damage, causing abnormal wear or scratch of the tape.

(4) Illegal operations, repair welding slag burns, and sweeper scratches, etc.

(5) Slipping of the adhesive tape will also cause abnormal abrasion of the adhesive tape.




In the process of using the conveyor belt, the most common problems are: foreign body scratch, local foreign body damage, abrasion, perforation, etc. Usually, the conveyor belt is partially damaged due to foreign matters. According to the traditional method, after it is completely disassembled, it is repaired and heated for vulcanization or scrapped for replacement. Can be carried out by using polymer rubber repair materials, which have super adhesion, excellent wear resistance and excellent tensile properties. The high molecular rubber repair material is adopted to repair the scratch of the rubber conveying belt on the spot without disassembly and heat vulcanization, so that the repair cost is low and the repair time is short, the heavy loss caused by scrap replacement and long-time shutdown is avoided, and the repaired conveying belt can completely reach the service life of new conveying.

So what is the cause of this? If the mixing of auxiliary materials is not uniform and the dispersion degree is not good, blisters and pimples will appear. If it is open smelting, check whether the charging sequence and the number of thin passes of turn-over smelting conform to the process, etc. It was originally mixed with water, or now it is caused by too much water in rainy season. It is suggested that the warehouse should be equipped with humidity control devices and not too humid. When foreign matter enters between the sweeper tip and the conveyor belt, deep scars will be drawn on the entire length of the conveyor belt.
